I AM The Voice Of Legacy Co (IAMTVOLCO) is a community-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in New Haven, CT, dedicated to the survival of our youth. We focus on their social, emotional and intellectual development.

Our mission is a simple but crucial one, to ensure that successive generations flourish and do not fall victim to the pitfalls facing our them these days. This starts with education, mentorship and ongoing engagement in their lives. All youth are at risk, no matter their socio-economic and ethnic status.
We here at IAMTVOLCO are dedicated to investing our time, love, energy and resources into the fight for the success of every youth and feel that bringing an end to the school to prison pipeline that is the place to begin.

IAMTVOLCO is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, that has at its core mission, the successful future of the next generation. This is no small task, and as the saying goes "It takes a village to raise a child". Therefore, "YOU" are an indispensable piece of the puzzle. Partnering with schools, counselor, behavioral health professionals, individuals and like-minded organizations that hold to the ideal that our youth are our future, we work tirelessly to ensure a positive outcome for each young person we encounter. It is only as a village (tribe) that we will be able to effect change.
