01-legacy speaks

We offer an immersive, adaptive, measurable design program model beginning with needs assessment then advancing through progressive levels; geared toward empowering youth through team building skill development, conflict resolution training, basic skill augmentation including reading comprehension learning labs, arts and virtual reality, science and humanities workshops. The program also engages parents, families, and community partners in supporting the students’ learning and growth. This multicultural, program includes youth of all high school grade levels, ages, races, and genders who meet, learn, create and have fun!

02-legacy echoes

This program provides a safe space for participants to freely discuss issues and concerns, build positive relationships and the confidence to achieve their dreams. Formatted as judgement free, round table talks, no topic is off limits and what's discussed in sessions remain private and stay in sessions. This program uses true life events and stories to help students improve their social and emotional learning and literacy skills. The curriculum covers topics such as trust, respect, identity, body image, leadership, peer pressure, gang affiliation, anger management, and self-esteem. Primary focus is on encouraging participants to recognize their untapped potential and demonstrate that potential to themselves first and then to others.

03-facts of life

Designed for participants who want to learn essential life skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Using art to imitate life and nurturing their artistic talents, our participants embark on a journey that transcends mere creativity. Through this process, they acquire essential life skills such as Financial Literacy, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Communication, Discipline, Perserverance and Positive Mindset, all of which are translated in their daily interactions with the real world. We meet weekly to try out various forms of artistic expression, discuss career pathways with successful people from our community, learn how to take on the responsibilities of adulthood, and have fun.  We also strive to instill the ability to become independent thinkers. Becoming an independent thinker demands the individual to routinely challenge information that is presented, so that their conclusion is based on the methodical interpretation of the facts rather than the opinions of others.
